The 11 times table starts out as the easiest table in the grid — just write the digit twice — and then throws in two facts at the end that break the rule. Knowing where the pattern stops is the whole job.
For 11 × 1 to 11 × 9 the answer is simply the digit repeated: 11 × 6 = 66. From 11 × 10 the pattern changes.

11 × 10 = 110, 11 × 11 = 121, 11 × 12 = 132. The doubling rule stops here, so treat these three as separate facts to memorise.
For 11 × 12, split the 12 into 1 and 2, add them to get 3, and drop it in the middle: 1_3_2 = 132. The same trick gives 11 × 14 = 154.
