Why games beat drilling
A child will happily answer two hundred questions inside a game and refuse forty on a worksheet. The maths is identical; the difference is that a game answers back straight away. Immediate feedback is what turns a fact you can work out into a fact you simply know.

Timed rounds that turn recall into reflex. Best once the facts are known but slow.
