A straight race against the clock. Questions come from the tables you pick, and any fact you miss comes back later in the same round — so the test keeps steering itself towards what you do not yet know.

Why games beat drilling
Speed is the point here. A fact you have to work out takes four or five seconds; a fact you know takes under two. This test shows you which of yours are which.
Common questions
How long does the speed test take?
About a minute and a half. It runs for 20 questions by default and you can choose 10 or 30 instead, so it fits whatever time you have.
What is a good times tables speed?
Around two seconds per question is the usual benchmark for a fact that has been properly learnt. Under three seconds is solid. Above five seconds usually means the answer is being worked out rather than recalled.
Does the speed test adapt to me?
Within a round, yes: a fact you get wrong goes back into the queue and comes up again, so the questions drift towards your weak spots. How hard it starts is your choice — easy stops at ×5, medium at ×10 and hard runs the full ×12.
